I live in the fricken band room!
Kids Night Out was last night, and Cathy, Diedra and I decided to pay homage to the latest and greatest democratic reign of government by taking on the roles of Bill, Monica, and Hillary through color-coded name tags. None of the kids got it, of course, and most adults didn't make a connection until we pointed it out. (except Mrs. Guse was the first to notice!! It was HALLARIOUS that she was the mom to notice first!) We got our faces painted with a corrosponding: "I love Monica, I hate Hillary" "I heart Bill" and "I hate politics, let's run for senator!" I, of course, was took on the role of Monica herself. We also bribed all these little kids with tickets to go up to Hinds, Carter, and best of all Ryne and give them hugs, convincing some of them that Carter was really Santa Claus in diguise checking to see if they were all good.
Also, because of Kids Night Out, I'm now thoroughly convinced that Laura would make the funniest stoner ever. She had crashed off of her little sugar high that had lasted all day by the end, and us Clintons (and ho's) and her were in the band room talking about random things, thinking it was hallarious. I think we talked about Cone-heads a lot. Because of this we think that the Capri-Suns were drugged. Seriously.
Today was just today. I stayed the night at my Dad's last night, and spent all morning packing my crap for Mom's and cleaning. Dull. Also had pep-band tonight. Fun!
