Independence vs Maturity

Happy Christmas Break everyone!

While I realize that Christmas has come and gone, and that those of us in the workforce have unfortunately returned to those places of gloom and doom, I'd like to wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season in general. Lord knows that we all need it.

I almost feel like I'm living an independent lifestyle. I've had the pleasure of waking up between the hours of nine and twelve every day of break. From there I sit down at the beloved (and still router-free, and thus internet deficit) laptop, and write. I somehow have managed to write without the call of a dissappointingly empty inbox and have completely ignored the screams of a good old-fashioned game of solitaire. I've been roaming around this little duplex as though I owned it, doing various house-y things like the laundry, dishes, etc. All with a quiet disposition.

Is this maturity finally calling? Or perhaps am I still a little girl playing house. Better yet, have I watched entirely too many episodes of Sex and the City for my own good?

I met the boys for lunch yesterday; the boys consisting of Cody, Lukas, Mark, Phillip, Brent, and Kenny. There, we discussed filming for their upcoming project Black Fire which we all know could possibly rank amongst the worst movies of all times, right up there with Glitter. However, the project itself will be a fun experience.

For those of you not in the know (which would be all of you), Black Fire is your basic military movie exemplified. You've got your rougue agents (played by Brent and Phil), your informant (played by the v. sexy Cody), your Government Agent Gone Bad (played by Marky), his bitch (Lukas), the sexy female!CIA agent (Katrina *grumble*), and lastly, the computer genius Nerd!slut who saves the day, becomes the motherfucking damsel in distress, but manages to kick ass anyway, and get the cold and heartless informant to fall for her (me!). Obviously, I don't know much about the plot other than my own part which Brent kindly explained to me over a plate of cheese fries and white chocolate milk shakes. I do know, however that Black Fire is the first of four movies, and that I become a larger character in later films. Evidently, I turn bad and seduce Raden (Cody's character-- odd name, I'm aware. Perhaps a pseudonym?) into telling me vital information about some atomic bomb or other atypical spy-movie plot foil. Woohoo!

And speaking of film news- Sara, Lauren, and I have decided to make a Winter Files! A further continuation of the Mall Files only without the narration to Mrs. Mallrich, and about twelve times better. Okay, so the Sara part of this is a lie. It was more likely that Lauren and I have decided to go on and film a Winter Files and if Sara doesn't want to, that's fine. We'll commence filming, and she'll want to be a part of it eventually. Speaking of,

Does anyone have any idea of what we should include in the Winter Files?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
