Should I be worried?
Okay, so I'm daringly embarking on a film project with my boys. Don't ask me how I got involved with it, I believe that Cody may be the main culprit in the pronject, however. The Boys (read: Brent and his band of merry pubescents) claim that each character is based off of the actor. In this film, entitled Black Fire I play Kelly, a 27 year old atomic weapons specialist.
Does this sound like me, Anna, the girl who can barely manage to cook anything that doesn't come in a box with very clear and easy microwave directions? No. Didn't think so. And accordingly, I am told that I have the biggest one-liner in the film. First of all, if it's called a one-liner rather than a monologue, then I'm scared. But if it's also with me saying things I don't understand, then it's a whole other issue. However- I bravely decided to go on with the project. Upon arrival of the script via an e-mail marked urgent with a subject line that read "MARK IS A RETTARD HEREEIS YOU'RE DAMN SCIRPT." I knew I was in a world of trouble, and up for a huge challenge.
Are you ready? Here is the "monologue"
Kelly – (with a worried look) If these things are released upon the world it will mean the end of everything on the face of this planet. These things were not made to further peace they were made to end that peace that many people on this planet have tried to further. They made these so that who ever had them would have the upper hand in a war. There is only that can destroy these things are them selves. Any nation that fought them would perish because they wouldn’t have the technology or the weapons to take them down. All countries in the world would have to surrender to their power. The very tensions that hold peace together in this world would be shatter. It would lead to a new world war. One in which massacres will take place and billions of people will pay the price for the research done here. She pauses for a moment then begins to speak again
Kelly-The only two mech designs that are done are the Razor and the Black Flacon. The Razor is a ground assault mech created to take on all grounded defenses and also has anti air defenses to protect it’s self from Air assault. The black Falcon is an air assault mech and has many weapons. It can also attack from land at objects but is a superior air mech. The other two are a tank with nuclear capabilities and a carrier made to carry all of these Mechs...
Is this what I seem like? Or rather, does anyone make any sense of this whatsoever?
Filming starts this weekend. I should be memorizing this motherload.
